Steve is a native of Minnesota and did undergraduate studies in dairy science at the University of Minnesota. He received his Ph.D in dairy science from the University of Illinois in 1986. Since that time Steve has worked with Nutrition Professionals with clients in WI and MN.

He is a member of the American Dairy Science Association, is a certified professional animal scientist with the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists, and a member of the Wisconsin Assoc. of Professional Agricultural Consultants, having been president of that organization in 2011.

Steve and his wife Holly reside in Sheboygan, WI.
